How do I unactivate the original so I can remove and install on a different
computer and end up with the new installation activated

You don't de-active an installation. You un-install off the original
machine, then proceed with installation on a second machine. Once you move
it to the second machine proceed to the activation phase and use the
telephone option. That's the only way currently to activate a product that
has been moved.

Hope this helps,

Mark, I was searching the Discussion Groups for the same answer, but my
problem is that I can not get to the product activation page. I began using
FrontPage with Frontpage 97, upgraded to FrontPage 98, and then to FrontPage
2002. When I start the install disk for 2003 and enter the key, the
installation program looks for a previous version of the software...which is
on the old computer. There must be an easier way than to reinstall two
obsolete versions before going on. My ultimate goal is to upgrade to
FrontPage 2003 on the new computer when I have the software loaded. Help
please?

When the installation looks for the previous version, take out the 2003 CD
and insert the 2002 CD and point it to that. When it recognizes the 2002 CD,
then re-insert the 2003 CD and it will continue to load.
