Hey folks,
I tried to uninstall Office 2007 Ultimate, my computer has been rabidly
unstable since I upgraded from 2003 thanks to this package so unfortunately
it's time to roll back.
When I ran the uninstaller I got error 1402 which was something about not
being able to access a key. Anyway, that's moot because as the installer was
rolling back the changes I blue screened...well I didn't, it did.
Now every time I try to remove Office Ultimate via Add/Remove Programs I get
a blue screen. I've since reinstalled Office 2003 Pro but I want 2007 off
this machine for the time being, I'm in no mood for conflicts.
Is there a manual process? Should I try repairing the install first? What
can I do, short of a fresh XP install to return my machine to the state it
was in (wishful thinking I know) before I installed Ultimate.
Thanks.
