Uninstall Latest Update

Is there any way to uninstall the latest Update (12.1.1) and revert to the last version? Entourage has started doing very weird things since the update - none of which I can resolve.

Yes, but you will also need to revert back to a previous database, which
means any changes you've made (new messages downloaded, etc.) will be lost.

Entourage has started doing very weird things since the update - none of
which I can resolve.

Rather than trying to revert, you should post a new message detailing your
problems so that they can be diagnosed.

Thanks Adam - I've done that for the first one (Email Reply Screen Layout going to 1/2 Screen) with no resolution. Had a number of MVPs on it - could not resolve it.

The next item is now my Calendar is not allowing me to set a date for an appointment OTHER THAN February 3, 2008. I have no idea why - but all this has started since the latest update.

This is a long shot but I believe it did resolve someone else's similar
issue a while back.

First, quit Entourage.

Go to Apple menu --> System Preferences... --> International --> Formats
--> Dates. If the Region drop down menu says "Custom" then select
your region. This will reset all your date formats.

Launch Entourage and see if anything changes.

I did see that thread but, sorry, I don't have a solution for you.

When you say it's only taking up half the screen, do you mean you get a
very horizontal window or a very vertical window? How big is your
screen? Is your Entourage Main Window maximized as well?

THe Entourage Main Window opens normally to full screen (as always).

The Reply screen opens on the left half of the screen. I can maximize it, save it and when I re-open it always reverts to the 1/2 screen format.

In the future if you archive (zip) your office folder before updating, you
can easily revert.

As Adam, said give us a bit to help resolve your issues. You could revert
and the problem still exist. It's not the update itself, it was the updating
process that caused the problem.

Hmm... When I test all my reply windows come up the same size and
dimension regardless of how I left them last time. So at least I think
I'm reproducing your results.

I can't guarantee an answer but I can test ideas.

Have you tried changing the window size by dragging its right corner instead
of maximizing it? That might make a difference.
