Uninstall of Microsoft Office trial version

I have an HP a1102n Wndows XP/SP2 that came with a 60-day trial version of
Microsoft Office 2003. I need to remove the program, but though the program
appears in Add-Remove Programs, it doesn't show a "Remove" option. I
couldn't find any information in the Knowledge Base or FAQs on this
particular problem. I have a boxed full version of Microsoft Office 2003
(Standard) that I want to install, but am told that I must uninstall the
trial version first. Can this be done manually in the Registry? Or would
that be a mighty time-consuming job?

FWIW -- I received no response to this but still was able to solve it in my
own inept way.

I decided "Nuts, I going to disregard the trial version and install the full
boxed version of 2003 which I bought". Lo and behold! I was given a message
with one of the choices to remove Office 2003. This I did with fingers
crossed and that's what occurred. After restarting I was then able to insert
the CD again and install the regular program with its own Product Key.

Maybe most who bothered to read the original post knew this, but I didn't. I
only use the program for Word occasionally; am really a WordPerfect person.
Hope this helps someone.
