Hi. I have the same problem too. I followed the steps from
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/928218/en-us but encounterd some
problems.
I'm stuck at this part after I open the %windir%\Installer folder:
For each .msi file whose subject is "Microsoft Office Product_Name 2007,"
right-click the .msi file, and then click Uninstall.
There is a .msi file (Name 2ccdf3, Size 12,536 KB, Type Window Installer
Package, Subject Microsoft Office Professional 2007) after I click Uninstall,
it says:
"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package
exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to
verify that this is a valid window installer patch package."
What should I do next? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
