Uninstalling and reinstalling

Since there does not seem to be a solution to the Great Solver Problem on
the horizon, is it possible to uninstall/delete Office v.x and then
reinstall (and then NOT do the 10.1.4 update, obviously). If so,
directions, please

:) Seems that I spoke a day too soon. As I posted today, Solver now seems
to work...

George you certainly can uninstall Office X and then reinstall, and not do
the 10.1.4 update. However, before you try that download and try the
Office 10.1.5 update that just came out yesterday..
