Uninstalling office 2003 and reverting back to office XP

Nik

I have installed office 2003 over my fine running office XP and after
experimenting with office 2003 I am thinking of unistalling it to get back to
office XP.

What would be the safest way for me to do it without losing any data (like
outlook data or maybe other functionality)
I also have some powerpoint files created in office 2003 what is it going to
happen with them?

Is it better to just reinstall office XP over my installation of office 2003?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very dissapointed by the
office 2003 performance and I am seriously consider the possibility of
uninstalling office 2003 instead of waste precious time to troubleshoot it.

You cannot install Office XP over Office 2003. You need to Sava and backup your
files that you need and then uninstall Office 2003 and then re-install Office XP
