Uninstalling Office 2003

I just installed Office Enterprise 2007 and it did not uninstall my previous
version of Office -- Office 2003. Also it did not remove many of the
components, such as Excel, Outlook, and Word. Is there some way to remove
the old versions without going through the installation process yet again.

That's very odd. Usually, installing 2007 removes the existing version
unless you do a custom install and tell it to leave the existing version.

In the control panel's Add/Remove programs section (or Vista's equivalent),
click on Microsoft Office 2003. If you're running Vista, there will be an
Uninstall option. If you're running Windows XP, there will be a Remove
button.

I did not do a custom install.... At least I didn't think I did that. Also, I went to the control panel and tried to remove Office 2003. It sat a while, the disk spun and nothing happened. It still shows up on the list..... Hmmmm, I wonder if it's actually gone, but the list isn't updating properly.

Check in the Office11 folders to see if files such as winword.exe and
excel.exe are still there.
