Uninstalling Office

I have my copy of Office on a Laptop that fails terribly -- it is being
replaced. I want to uninstall my copy of Office before decommissioning the
laptop so I can install iot on the new laptop. Other than uninstalling what
do I have to do to ensure my registered copy history is updated?

Microsoft doesn't maintain a "registered copy history".
