Uninstalling Only Some Office 2007 Programs

Sorry if this has been covered - couldn't find it...

I purchased Office 2007 specifically for OneNote 2007 (to upgrade from
OneNote 2003). However, I didn't see an option to install only that program,
and installed all programs. I want to continue to use PowerPoint 2003, Word
2003, etc., (and don't want to use PowerPoint 2007, etc.) but I now have
PowerPoint 2007, etc. installed along with PowerPoint 2003, etc.

How can uninstall all of the 2007 programs except for OneNote 2007? Thank you.

Through Control Panel's Add and Remove Programs, you should be able to
"Change" your Office 2007 installation. In that, you should be able to "Add
or Remove Features." From there, you can uncheck the items that you don't
wish to install. (Please note, the terminology came from Office Professional
2003. I don't have 2007 close, but it should be close enough to follow the
instructions.)

When loading, you should have chosen "Custom" and only picked the items that
you wished to load.

Now, you may have a problem with file references. If you click on a .DOC
file, Windows may not know to run Word 2003, if the reference was moved to
Word 2007, then Word 2007 is removed. Hopefully the File Types will revert
or be easy for you to set. I don't know of an automatic way to change them
back.
