Uninstalling Outlook 2003

Purchased Outlook 2007 standalone. Have Microsoft Office 2003 Pro on
computer with Outlook 2003. Installed Outlook 2007 and it is running. Still
have Outlook 2003 on computer also. Would like to uninstall it but when I go
to Control Panel, the only option is to delete the whole Microsoft Office
2003 program. 2007 is running just OK and I thought that if I can get 2003
off it might work better. Any ideas on how to uninstall just 2003 without
uninstalling everything in 2003.

if you pick the office 2003 uninstall, it will go into a routine where you
can pick just outlook to uninstall.

There is something seriously wrong with your installation when you have 2
versions of Outlook installed on a single system. Are you sure that both
version of Outlook are installed?

At this point I would recommend to completely remove Outlook 2007 and Office
2003. Then install Office 2003 again (without Outlook) and apply Office 2003
Service Pack 3 with additional updates. Then install Outlook 2007 and apply
Office Service Pack 1 with additional updates.

The only reason I found out both were on system was when I ran "Office
Diagnostics" from the Help menu of Outlook 2007 it told me that two
conflicting versions of Outlook were on the computer. Diagnostics did not
recommend doing anything about it though. I will try your rec shortly.
Thanks
