GMAN
I used to use a flat-file DB manager that had two very handy built-i
functions.
One was a unique identifier for the date/time a record was created.
This was an automatically entered field that never changed once th
record was entered.
The other field was a date/time field that automatically initiated whe
the record was first entered and then updated whenever the record wa
changed.
I know I can write macros to do this but if there is a function o
formula that can do the trick I would love to know what is!!
functions.
