I am doing some calculations and I have trouble making
Excel take the units that goes with the number. I go
to "Format Cells->Custom". It still refuse to take.
When I do it I get a weird Hexadecimal number. The unit
is the "ohm" symbol --- aka resistance

Also the calculations are quite huge and time consuming.
Up to a million at a time. I have 512meg MEM and
2.4Ghz. Is their a way to speed it up a little.

Help Please!!!!!!

You need to use a font that includes both the numbers and the OHM symbol (Greek
letter OMEGA). At least in my default ARIAL font, this requires using the
charmap.exe program; selecting a UNICODE font, and copy/paste the OMEGA
character into the number format string. There are other fonts which may
include the OMEGA character in the western font set, though.
