Unprotecting a formfield so seq numbering will work using macro.

Hi,

How can i open my protected form with the seq number still working. Is it
possible to unprotect the text formfield where the number is situated or
unprotect a certain part of the document where it can be placed?

Before the statement that inserts the number in the bookmark, insert this
line in the code:

ActiveDocument.Unprotect

After the statement that inserts the number in the bookmark, insert this
line in the code:

ActiveDocument.Protect Type:=wdAllowOnlyFormFields, NoReset:=True
