Hi All

I'd appreciate it if anyone came across the following
issue & have a solution to it:

I am using Outlook 2003, part of Office 2003 Pro, and all
of my incoming emails will change from 'unread' to 'read'
automatically after few minutes, with reading pane turned
off.

There is an option on the tool menu that said mark as a
red after a time that cames by dafault, you just have to
change that time to never

But that applies to the Reading (Preview) Pane and the OP said that was off,
so your advice doesn't seem appropriate.
