Unread Message View

Currently experiencing a problem in Outlook 2000 SP-3,
where transitioning from the Message view to Unread
Message view does not work. Both views appear to be the
same. My objective is to use the Unread Message view to
see only unread messages.

Try resetting your view:

Select the VIEW menu
Select CURRENT VIEW...
Select DEFINE VIEWS...
Highlight the UNREAD MESSAGES view and
then click the RESET button
