I am using Outlook 2000 (I know, should upgrade), whenever I click off of a email it automatically marks that email as read. How can I stop this?

On the "Tools" menu, click "Options",
and then click the "Other" tab.
Click "Preview Pane".

Select the options you want
(uncheck "mark item as read when selection changes")
