Having installed the recent Office 2007 SP update, I am having
problems with Outlook not behaving how it used to.
It seems to no longer write entries to the Software\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail key in the user hive of the registry. I use
this as part of a screensaver that alerts me to the number of new
emails in my inbox which no longer works thanks to this.
I've gone through the Office & Outlook SP2 FAQs and looked at the
change logs and known issues but I can't find mention of this
specifically.
Does anyone know if this was a deliberate change or if there is
somewhere else I can poll to get the information I want?
Many Thanks.
