Unregistered Object

In Access I have created links to files which were working
fine until now. I inserted an object through a form and
now when I call the for the embeded Excel worksheet
located on a server I get the message "The Work Sheet
Isn't Registered", however I can retreive a word document
off of my local drive just fine. I can also retreive pdf
files from the server just fine too. What can I do to
correct the problem where some files are retrived and
other are not?
