Unsharing a Workbook

After going to Tools>Protectio>Protect Shared Workbook and saving the file,
it shows as "shared" in the title bar. Going again to
Tools>Protection>Unprotect Shared Workbook releases the protection, but it
still shoes as "shared."

How do you unshare the workbook? If I look at the file properties,
"Everyone" no longer has access, and access seems to be limited to
Administrators and System. How can the workbook be set back to normal,
unshared access?

Try Tools|Share Workbook.

(It is kind of surprising that the caption isn't toggled to "Unshare workbook",
though.)

Just uncheck the option on the Editing tab.
