Unsmooth letters

R

Ray

I notice that the letters in presentation is projected on the screen are
saw-toothed. I tried to use Arial and other TT fonts with the same problem.
Can someone advise me how to improve it.

Thanks,

Ray

Ray,

Windows has something called "font smoothing / smooth fonts". There have
been problems when the text is "animated" in powerpoint, it can get a bit
saw-toothed or blocky.

If you are using XP there is something (in addition) called "cleartype".
This feature is to help get better text display on an LCD laptop. I find
this feature can get in the way if you are using a desktop with an CRT
monitor.

There is a way of turning off the cleartype feature.... (search google to
find it)
