I hvae a form with a subform, each of which uses a query (not the same
query) as a datasource. In the subform is a combo box. When I choose an item
from the list in the combo box, I get a message that says "Field cannot be
updated". I click on OK in the message box, and the record seems to update.
If I close the form, then re-open it, the record still exists. If I go to
the query and enter data in the field, the message doesn't come up, so I
suspect it's a function of the form, but don't know what to look for. Any
help appreciated.
