unwanted attachment sent with every e-mail

I use Microsoft Office for e-mail I think Microsoft Word is the editor.
version 2003.
This is the address of the attachment when it is opened. How can I stop this.

You've likely saved a bad copy of the NORMAL.DOT file. Make sure Word is
closed, then locate and rename NORMAL.DOT to NORMAL.OLD, then open Word
to create a new one.

Dare I say I think it worked, I had gone through this process before but the
magic words were, 'make sure Word is closed' as that is all I can think I did
differently this time. Thank you very much for your help.
