unwanted borders when printing two pages per sheet

when i set the printer option to print 2 pages per sheet from publisher print
setup i get a square border around each page. How can i stop this from
printing?

Are the lines visible in the publication? Are they crop marks? If they are the
latter, you can turn that off in the print dialogue, advanced print settings, page
settings tab.

If you set that option in the printer driver settings, it would be the
printer driver that is putting the lines there.

You could try doing it in Publisher instead, or using an additional
application such as FinePrint from www.fineprint.com

No lines are visible in publisher. I'm pretty sure this is a generic printer
setting since it does it even with Notepad. Now if i can find the advanced
setting for it in printing...

Look at the commercial printing settings under tools, maybe something there has
changed...
Might check with your printer's manufacturer for an updated driver.

Have you tried to print the page to a PDF? Do you get the same issue?
