Unwanted icons

I see an unwanted icon on my desktop toolbar,and when I click it ,it
immediately connects to a website called antivermins.com.I haven't been able
to hide the icon or be able to remove the program by going to add or remove
programs cause it isn't there at all.Pl suggest as how to get rid of this
thing.

it seems to reason that
the website that it is taking
you too may also say how
to uninstall it. however,

try right clicking on it and
see where the target/startup
directory is for it.

also, open task manager
(ctrl alt del) and see if
a process with a similar name
is running in memory. if so
then kill the process and check
out your msconfig for
