Unwanted Info in Outlook subject line

Every out going message I've sent from Outlook 2000
Professional has this strange header in the subject area:
[SPAM]. Why is the happening and how can is be eliminated?

Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer

I'm running N.A.V., but have not installed any spam
specific software. This is a new computer and came with
Norton AV

Something OTHER THAN Outlook is adding it. Turn off your NAV Email
integration and see if that helps.
