Hi all,
recently my customer installed two new COM addins, which seem
to slow down my own addin.
For instance, upon creating a new Word document my addin performs
numerous actions which in turn cause many change events. And all other
addins seem to react to these events. As a consequence,
document creation takes much more time and the screen starts flickering.
Is there a way to encapsulate my addin in some way, i.e. to 'hide'
change events?
(I read about SHIM. Is this a way to go?)
