when my .jpg image (300 Lines Per Inch) is saved to a file Publisher adds an
extral line at the top of the image. Is there a setting that will allow me
to save my work to a .jpg without this unwanted line at the top?

I have seen this a couple of times. Are you saving the entire publication as a
picture? Is there a text box involved? Can you take your image into an editing
program and crop the line out?

Thank you for the reply Mary,

Yes I am saving the entire publication as a picture. I would be happy to
send you a copy of the .Pub version of the file so that you could see it
first ahnd.

I am sure that the line could be cropped out in some other editing program,
but the problem is that I am trying to give my users a template to prpare
their Logo and some text for use at the top of forms produced by my software.

Since My users are most likely to have a copy of publisher in their Office
Suite, I chose to create the template in Publisher so that users would have a
minimum of learnig to do to a "Header.jpg" for the top of their forms.

If you would send me your eMail address I would be happy to send a copy of
my documents on to you

Bob
