Working with Office XP - I've come across a few documents (only a small
percentage of many) which have got password protection applied and so are
read only.
We have cracked the passwords (they were all different) and they were a
string of random letters and numbers.
Has anyone else come across documents that become password protected, if so
any idea what causes it? We are migrating from Office 97 to XP at the
moment, but I'm not sure if this could be a factor?
