unwanted read receipts

I had to reinstall my Outlook. I now get read receipts for the emails I
send. They are not checked on the individual emails, and I can't find a
general option that allows that.
Does anyone know what's going on?

should
"process requests and responses on arrival" be the only box checked?

oh by the way:
the boxes for
"for all messages I send..." request a read of delivery receipt
neither of those boxes was checked

Have you set up a read/receipt function on your ISPs webmail possibly?
