unwanted spaces between lines

I have huge spaces between lines. i.e. line 42 towards bottom of page has 2" of space, then next line 43 is on next page. It's not line 42 that has a large space, it's the space between the lines. When I try to move up line 43, it becomes hidden. HELP!

It sounds like one of two possibilities (or a combination of the 2):

1- The current margin settings are such that Row 43 won't fit on the same
page as Row 42, or

2- The Row height has somehow been increased... Either increasing font size,
manually dragging the separator, or some other possibility. Select any cell
in the row then use Format> Row> AutoFit or select Height & enter the
default of (.18).

I'm not clear about what you're referring to as a 'Row' as opposed to a
'Line' ‹ any given Row can contain multiple lines of content. Either way, it
would probably be a good idea to determine what caused the height to
increase in the first place so it doesn't come back to haunt you. If it was
caused by pasting from some other source (such as a web page) you may have
unwanted [and invisible] stuff in one or more cells of the row.

Thanks for the quick response! Yes, it was the "print area" setting. Thank you!
