Unwanted text

"Suzanne S. Barnhill" < sbarnhill@mvps answered my first
message and gave me some advise yesterday the 21st. I
failed to copy it. It no longer on the screen.
Again, I'm pleading for help. Thank you.

Word Files ONLY are affected.
Upon opening a file there is unwanted text added (garbage).
It is possible to delete the unwanted text each time the
file is used.
None of the file is lost, however formating is lost and
must be reformated each time I use the file.
Also, size of print is reduced to barely readable.
When saving a file I'm asked or informed the file will be
saved in Word format.

Examples of text added to fille:

Normal
Default Paragraph Font
My name plus MC:\Windows\Application
Data\Microsoft\etc.etc.
etc., etc.,etc., about 30 lines of it.
Some is repeated several time.

I using Windows ME
Office 2000 Standard

In the File Open dialog, change the "Files of type" setting from "Recover
