Unwanted User name and Password dialog box

I don't want visitors to need a username and password when posting to my
discussion web (it is in a subweb). Is this a permissions issue in Server
Administration for FP Server Extensions? If so what changes should I make?

Is this a setting in FP 2002? I did not specify "Registered users only" when
setting up the web with FP's discussion web wizard.

I tried using the Permissions Wizard in IIS where I specified my site to be
a "Public Website" but I ended up being restricted from publishing from FP
2002.

This is my discussion posting page:
http://riders.outsourceparts.com/disc1_frm.htm

How can I get rid of the User Name and Password dialog box?

Thank you for your help,
Jeff Judd

I seem to have solved my problem by publishing just my subweb, by itself,
rather than my root web + my subweb (by checking the "include subwebs"
checkbox in the FP publish screen). I had been publishing to
http://mysubweb.rootweb.com. This address allowed me to publish OK but if
someone tried to post to my discussion form, they ran into the
username/password problem described in my original post to this group.

With all the reading and research I have done, "http://mysubweb.rootweb.com"
seemed to be the correct destination when dealing with subwebs. The
publishing address that finally worked was
http://www.myrootweb.com/name%of%subweb where "name%of%subweb" is the actual
name of the subweb directory on my hard drive.

I hope this all makes sense and is helpful to anyone else having this issue.
