Unwanted Windows Live Workspace splash window

I'm not certain this is the correct forum for this question but,
lacking any other link, this seems to be the nearest.

I have an Windows Live workspace established for myself and one for my
spouse.

Whenever I open MY Office 2007 (Word) everything works normally.

However, when my spouse opens HER Office 2007 (Word) application she
gets an Office Live splash window. Despite multiple attempts to
remove this splash window by checking the 'Do not show this again'
checkbox, it keeps re-appearing.

Why? How do I STOP this splash window?

I have compared my settings to hers and they match exactly so I'm at a
loss to understand what is happening.

Thanks for any help (or directions to a more appropriate forum).

posted a resolution.
Add a new key and name it "OfficeLive" in the registry under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\.
