Update date based on another table's dates

I have a date field Date Next Run that I update by a certain number of days
based on another field. Now what I want to do is take another table which
has dates in it, and if any dates are in the range of Date Next Run from its
original value to its updated value, I want to add one more day to Date Next
Run.
