update error for office 2007

i keep getting update error 646 for microsoft office enterprise 2007 has
anyone got a soloution to this.

It's a known problem, manually download the applicable updates and install
the same.

You can go here and search for the updates.

Paul are you using Windows 7? I have a customer with the same problem. I am a
Microsoft OEM and have been searching for the location where i can delete the
temp files so they will not try to load.

Download and manually install the updates, that seems to fix the problem of
the updates not installing.

Presumably all downloaded temp files would be under something like
softwaredistribution\downloads like previous versions.

Look at the Windows Update category in these forums:
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/categories
Doesn't matter which one you pick, they all leave to the one Windows Update
forum.
