The microsoft site said I needed an update to my Office XP. After
downloading and beginning the install, it asks me to insert the Office XP
Small Business CD. Problem is, I have Office XP Professional (home version,
not small business). It apparently doesn't like my CD & won't continue.
So... it scanned my computer & said I needed the update (Office SP3) but
won't let me complete it.
(also - this update was a suggested fix to problems sending email using
POP3, which is the root issue I'm trying to fix)
