Update problem

Hello,

We have come across a problem when rejecting tasks.

Basically when I am approving time bookings and I reject a task, insert a
note and then update it, I get a message that says

"The update to the server failed
Please check your network connection and then try again.
If the problem continues your logon may not be valid anymore or you may not
have the required permissions.
Contact the Server Administrator"

If I close the dialog and press update it approves all tasks.

If I close the dialog and re-open all tasks have changed to accept but all
notes are still present, therefore we need to reject the relevant tasks
again.

Can anyone advise please ?

These all exist - but I don't think thats the problem.

The OLAP Admin and WSS Admin Accounts also exist.
