update query

Hi

When I run an update query via a code, it does not update. When I
debug.print the sql and copy it to a query and run the query it works.

What am I missing here?

You're missing two things, minimum:

1.) The entire VBA code that you are running (not just a fragment) and
2.) The SQL statement of the update query that you are running (unless it is
a part of # 1, above).

We cannot help you out much at all, unless you can show us the code, and the
query.
