I recently started updating MS Office 2000 by going the MS website. In
addition I turned on MS updates and it showed several updates but they were
all MS Office 2007 (mine is MS Office 2000). It found these updates by
scanning my hard drive and I wonder if they would actually apply to my MS
Office version. I opted not to install the 2007 updates but later the
automatic feature kicked in and they got downloaded and installed anyway. A
quick check shows that my MS Office still works, so I wonder what gives with
the MS Office 2007 updates being selected to be downloaded on my computer?
I am wondering if the MS Update feature should be left on?
