I have a purchase order database with 2 tables: Products
Sold and Order Details, with a 1-many relationship. I
use an order form with a subform to collect the products
from a list using the products sold table. When I enter
the product in the subform, I want it to look up the part
number and the unit price from the products sold table.
The subform is based on a query which joins the two
tables using a productID (auto-number). But I want to be
able to change either the part number or the unit price
on the subform without changing the part number and unit
price in the products sold table. In other words, the
part number and unit price on the order must be derrived
from the subform values, not from the products sold
table. It works for unit price but not for part
number. Can you help?
