Presntly using Office 2003. Plan to purchase new computer next year. Will
install Office 2007 on new system. How do I go about importing my Outlook
2003 Personal Files onto the new system. This would be Office 2003 Outlook
files into office 2007 Outlook. Files going from old computer to new.

You don't import - you copy the .pst file and open it in Outlook.

I thought I read somewhere you could not open a 2003 Outlook Personal Folder
in Outlook 2007. I believe the article said you have to convert the Folder
into a 2007 Folder first. Does this make sense? You're saying just take the
Folder from the old computer, copy to CD or something, and copy it onto the
new computer. I don't have to install the new Office program on the old
computer to convert the filrs then install Office 2007 on the new computer to
be able to accept. Confusing??

Outlook 2007 uses the same PST format as 2003. Whatever you read, it was
wrong.
