Updates from PWA to Project Plans

The updates from PWA to Project Plans are a big frustrations for us. When a
project manager do the updates all project plans are opened one by one. (No
Problem) but after updates have been done the project plans don not close.
You can click on close several times and these project plans will just stay
open. Eventually you have to end the tasks and check in your projects. All
the updates have been successfully updated but the project plan will not
close after updates. Anybody else experienced this?
