Updates installed a new outlook where is my old e-mail?

My computer automotically alerts me to updates that need to be installed. It
installed a new Outllool on my system. My emachine is less than 1 year old
and I can't remember what version of outlook I had prior to the update.
Anyway when I brought up my system all my previous e-mail is gone! Where did
it go and I need it back!

This is not possible. Outlook is a program, not an update. Are you sure you
have Office's Outlook and not Outlook Express?
