Updates Not Approved Get Overwitten

C

Chris Walsh

If a resources has updates waiting for approval by the Project Manager, a Project Manager makes changes to the task and republishes all assignments, the data waiting for approval and update gets overwritten with previous values.

1: Two things, if it overwrites the data, there should be no reason to update the tasks cause you have overwritten the changes.

2: I don't think the data should be overwritten by the simple fact of re entering the data if a heap of updates get sent through and the Project Manager decides to change a published field, all the data the resources have change is now useless!!

Which should it be??

Chris:

You have to accept updates first, before making changes that require
republishing.
