"Updates" view does not save settings for columns shown?

I have published to "extra" fields to PWA; baseline work and cost1. I ddrag and drop them where I want them in the timesheet view of the project member, and when logging out an in again the view is still as I left it. As a project manager I so the same in the "updates" view, but when logging in later again the view has changed back to the original - so I have to scroll all to the right to find my "extra" fields. Is this the way it is?

I use ms windows authentication for project members while I use project server authentication for project managers (project managers are only defined as users on the server). Is this a problem
