Jeff

Hi,
Just a clarification please.
Office 2007 Professional will upgrade Office 2003 Student/Teacher edition
correct?
No need to uninstall 2003 first?

Jeff
sorry, I forgot.

Only a full version of Office 2007 can be used, not an upgrade version as Student and Teacher's editions do not qualify for upgrade eligibility.

Millie,
What I meant to say is,
can I install(not upgrade; i think install is the correct term-sorry)Office
2007 Professional without having to remove Office 2003 Student/Teacher
edition first?
I'm sorry if I didn't clarify it.

Sure - you will have the choice to remove the applications included in Office 2007 during the installation, and it is best to take that option so as to not have conflicting .dlls The applications included in Office 2007 that are not included in the STE edition will install without asking to uninstall previous (non-existent) versions.

Hi Jeff,

Yes, you can install Office 2007 without removing Office 2003 ahead of time. If you were installing a version of Office 2007 that
had *fewer* apps than the 2003 edition it was replacing then the older version may continue to also be available for at least those
apps.

You can use an Office 2007 Professional edition upgrade package with MS Office 2003 Student and Teacher' edition. There isn't a
stipulation on the MS site precluding it.
