S Susan Ramlet Mar 29, 2005 #2 Hi, pwrpuma, Not sure what you're asking. A Service Pack is not an upgrade--are you asking if applying Office SP-1 is needed if you are running Windows XP SP-1? They are entirely different service packs. If you want to keep your system updated, then you need to apply them both. Hope that helps,
