Hi there...
Just put Office 2007-b2 on this system as an upgrade to 2003 Professional.
Several things happened during the upgrade process:
1. It complained that mapi32.dll was in use and asked me to
abort/retry/ignore. I had closed Outlook 2003, so I'm not sure why this was
the case.
2. Near the end of the install, it opened a dialog box and asked me to
close down an application in the window title, but the data inside the form
was empty, so I had no idea what to shut down. I tried end-tasking several
things (like SQLExpress, WDS, MSN Messenger) and hitting "retry" after each,
but the box kept coming back. I finally punted and hit "Ignore", then it
trucked on without issue.
