I upgraded Microsoft ME to Microsoft XP. I'm running Outlook Express 6. I can
receive email's and read them but when I try to reply or send new email I get
the following message. My system came with Microsfoft Works Suite Basic 2000.

Microsoft Office 2000 Premium. Please wait while windows configures
microsoft office 2000 premium.

Error 1706 - no valid source could be found for product microsoft office
2000 premium. The windows installer cannot continue.

The address book failed to load. Outlook express is incorrectly configured.
Please reinstall.

There was an error opening this message. An error has occured.

My internet provider is USfamily and they say its a problem with Microsoft
and they cant help me.

Sounds like you must have had Microsoft Office installed at one point. Do
you have any media? How about your Works media?

I do have the Microsoft Works Suite Basic 2000 disc's

And you've tried inserting those?
If your computer was preinstalled with Windows ME and Office or Works, try
contacting the hw manufacturer.
